Introduction: Jello Pie
this is a delicious pie that even people who are on a diet can eat. i like it when you put cool whip on top. grab your chef aprons let get cooking.
gram crackers 1half packets
jello mix(any kind including sugar free)x2
cool whip or whip cream(optional)
half a cup of butter(or 1 stick)
something to crush stuff with
Step 1: Crushing
first step put all the gram crackers in the bowl and crush them with something like a rolling pin or meat pounding hammer. crush them to fine dust so there are no chunks in it.
Step 2: Mixing
in a separate bowl start mixing the jello the way the package says. make sure to follow the normal instructions. and not make Jigglers or magic mousse.
Step 3: Baking
preheat the oven to 350 degrees. take the butter and melt it in the microwave so that it is completely melted. pour that into the crushed gram crackers. mix it in thoroughly so all the cracker dust is wet. then press it into the pie plate and bake for 10 minute or until dark brown.
Step 4: Combine
take the crust out of the oven and pour the jello liquid in. cover and stick it in the refrigerator for 4 hours. my crust is a little crumble like because i did it to long.
Step 5: Finished
take it out and put the cool whip on top. there you have it. putting the cool whip on top is optional if you want. you can try putting fruit in it if you like. i haven't but your free to try.
