Introduction: Make a Cheap Effective Bb Gun

About: i like to have fun

first instructable please be nice and this is a cheap easy bb gun will hurt if shot trust me i had blood blisters from it do not use on a human use on paper targets

Step 1: Items Needed

1.ur gonna need a party balloon any color they sell them in good amount packs probally at drug stores 2.ur gonna need round a.k.a. ammo objects that fit into the hole of a soda bottle 3. soda bottle any cheap one maybe a 20oz. bottle or one from the garbage if from garbage clean it !! 4. good nice size rubber bands u need it thick not thin, thin will break easily.

Step 2: Cutting the Balloon

the first thing you need to do is cut the balloon right around the neck of it maybe a little lower sorry no picture for the whole balloon

Step 3: Cut the Bottle

your going to need to cut the soda bottle right near the top as close as you can to the opening below the circle rim look on the picture its below the screw on area thats as close as i was able to get

Step 4: Assembly

1.after you have the bottle top and the balloon after it has been cut its time to start assembly*yay* first you'll need to take the balloon and stretch it over the screw on piece of the bottle top put it down to the rim as in the first photo
2.take the rubber band around where the balloon meets the soda bottle and start twisting and wrapping the rubber band around it took me five wraps to make sure the rubber band is tightly wrapped around the balloon in picture two
3. opitional put some flour or some baby powder inside the balloon and swish it around it helps make sure the balloon dosen't stick to itself

Step 5: Using, Loading

to use your bb gun put some type of pebble size thing into the balloon grab onto the soda bottle around where the rubber band is pull back the balloon while grabbing the ammo at the same time aim and shoot at something
i sugest a box cheap easy and its fun

Step 6: Closer and Warning

please if you get into trouble IT IS NOT MY FAULT!!!!!!!!!! you take responsbillity for what you do with it and please remember the be nice policy i would love some comments on how to improve and if you have any videos of you using it or building it please send it to me so i can upload it to the instructable i cannot tell you the "fps" feet per second cause i have not tested it and if u know it please tell i know that i got a blood welt from a plastic bb so please do not shoot anything that can feel pain oh and have fun with it it should only cost about 3-5 dollars at most

Hello, and welcome to the Instructables community! It's great that you've decided to tell the world about something you've made by publishing an Instructable. We just wanted to let you know that your project still needs a little more work if you want it to be well received on Instructables. Projects that don't include certain basic elements tend not to get the attention that they deserve, and so we'd love for you to check out the list below of what makes a successful Instructable. Successful projects on Instructables include: - clearly written details of a finished project with instruction - as many steps as are necessary to explain your project - clear images that you took of your project for most, if not all of your steps - an intro image - proper spelling and grammar - appropriate cautions or safety considerations I'll give you another opportunity to make any final changes to your project before we publish it. Once you're all set to go, please republish your project and send me a quick comment letting me know that you've made some changes. I'll give it a quick final check to make sure you're on the right path, and then remove this note. Thanks for your submission and we hope to see your project published soon!

Hi there NN. A cool little shooter for sure. Further to the comments by noahw and GorillazMiko, some punctuation would go a long way towards making the 'ible' easier to read and understand. Thanks for sharing!

it probably would have been better if u told me the disclaimer at the start, not the end. :(

Isn't this just a slingshot, or am I missing something?

these are cool, but the only problem with the baloons is that they're made of thin rubber so you pretty much have to be careful, otherwise it will rip. anyway, cool gun!!! very nice indeed. btw, if you stretch the baloon back far enough, it's capable of breaking an unused window, with a ball-bearing!!
