Moding a Sonic Boom Firework

Hi, this is my first Instructable, and I am going to teach you how to mod a Sonic Boom fire (or any SOUND SHELL firework). After you mod it you will be ending up with 2 different fireworks . One is a small but very loud ground explosion, the other being a marker rocket or a bb pellet shooter.

Step 1: Opening the Fire Cracker

When you first get it you are suposted to place it in the ground and light it, then it shoots up and bangs. what you are going to do in this step is take out the part that bangs. in order to do this grab a knife of scissors and make a hole in the top (see pic) then jab the sissors in and try to remove the little cardboard stoper. once it is out you can flip the fire work over and it will slide out

Step 2: Makeing the Ground Explosive

Once you get the little high explosive thing from inside the firework, place it so the black part is faceing up <After that cut the fuse on the firework or for a longer fuse use a sparkler. once your done its finished, we can now move on the the bb launcher/rocket

Step 3: Marker Launcher

this is what you do with the firework body, make the rocket. if you wanna make the bb shooter skip to next step. place a marker inside the tube, tighter the fit the better.

Step 4: Bb Shooter

to make the bb shoot you need some bbs (metal or plastic) fill the hole with bbs, you can also fill it with little rocks or pebbles or anything small enough to fit in it, even cat litter is fine.

Step 5: Bb Shooter

Now you can either leave it as is or put a cover on the top to stop spilling. I used a kleenex and tap. just put the kleenex on top and rap tape around it.

Step 6: Your All Done

After that you will have 2 explosives. now go use them and have fun. remember to run after lighting them.
