Step 1: Playin With Oranges

step 1.A.- Grate the orange to get as much zest as you can. This will help with color, and aroma of the final product.

step 1.B.-Juice it!!! squeeze the orange or oranges into the bowl with all the zest

side note- amount of oranges really just depends on how much scent you like, but don't over do it on the juice part. For a 16 oz. container i used 2 oranges

Step 2: Mint, Sugar, and Stir

Step 2.A- Chop or muddle your mint to as small as you are able ( this releases the mint smell ) Add this to the zest and juice

Step 2.B.- pour sugar into our little mixture. Sounds easy enough

Step 2.C.- Stir Stir Stir

Side note- It should have a medium viscosity, adding a bit more sugar can thicken it up if needed, and juice to thin it. :)

Step 3: Time for the Oil

Step 3.A.- Add a dollop or two of coconut oil. (coconut oil should be at room temp for this so it is easier to stir in)

step 3.B- stir stir stir (remember, medium viscosity)

Step 4: Pour It Back

Step 4- pour it back into your container and enjoy. this scrub will leave your skin glowing and vibrant with a great smell for your every morning shower. :)

Can't wait to try this. My girlfriend just bought some coconut oil yesterday for home beauty purposes. This will surely be a hit with her.

I keep mine in my bathroom ready for use in the cabinet. you should be good just keeping it by your sink or in your shower. Also a squeeze bottle for travel is good too.

Very nice. I love natural beauty products. If you make one with apples you can enter it in the Apple Contest too!

Would you recommend storing this in the fridge? LUSH, one of my favorite of beauty product lines, stores some of their stuff in the fridge so it doesn't spoil. Not sure what you think would be right for this scrub. Let me know!
