Introduction: Swing

easy and portable swing.

Step 1: Step 1

Take a piece of rope of about 20m and cut it into two pieces, each 10 meters.

When you do this, make a knot at one end of each rope.

Care to be sure that the rope is strong enough to carry a person of average weight.

Step 2: Step 2

When next you take a sheet of plywood 4mm thick which you three plates cut from each 60cm by 35cm wide.

When you have done this, glue the three boards together and span this on a form. I've done this on an old barrel.

Stretching can be done with a rope. Make sure the planks securely packed. Let this dry.

If this is sufficiently dried, you can cut out the desired shape.

In my example, I used a radius of 15cm to the rounding.

My measurements are 30cm by 50cm.

Step 3: Step 3

When you have the correct form, go drilling holes to attach the rope. In my example, I used a rope with 10mm diameter as.

To facilitate the work, I drill holes of 11mm diameter.

Step 4: Step 4

In order to make the board lighter, you can be drill in milling slots or holes.

Step 5: Step 5

Once you have done this, you can attach your rope to your board.

Put your rope into the holes and tighten the knot at the end is.

This always do one hole per side.

Step 6: Step 6

At the place where you want to hang the swing, throw ropes over the skid.

The end of the rope you cross through the two free holes. Choose the desired height.

Step 7: Step 7

To attach the ropes to the board, make a loop as shown in the picture.

The advantage of this is that it is easily returned to disassemble.

Tighten the knot firmly so that it does not come loose during rocking.

Step 8: Step 8

When you have done all the steps, you can enjoy your swing.

Step 9: Step 9

To store the back swing, you pull the loop apart.
Roll the rope around the swing seat so you can easily carry it and store it.
