This Little Piggy Goes Up Up and Away

About: I'm an editorial assistant who loves to crochet! My mom taught me to crochet when I was 12, but I hated counting my stitches and making straight rows--and I couldn't read a pattern to save my life (still can...

it's official--anything is possible :)

When I was little, I was totally entralled with the book "Perfect the Pig"--the story of a sweet little pig who was granted his wish to fly. And what's better than a flying pig? A festive flying pig of course! :)

I designed this little guy without a pattern, and his tail is curled using an old trick my mom taught me : wet your snippet of yarn, wrap it around an alluminum crochet hook, then bake it in a preheated oven at 350 for 5 minutes--and volia!--you get a piece of bouncy corkscrew yarn.
