Intro: Laser Printer Carrying Case Home Made

ever wanted to carry your laser printer or anything that is fragile on a plane, car,or moving company and not worry about.
I fitted this luggage bag with some foam and it does the trick.'''''''''

STEP 1: Things You'll Need:

*foam (meant for single bed)

*utility knife

*long enough ruler or like I did a scrap piece of 4x4

  • hot glue gun
  • plenty of glue sticks

*scissors

*felt pen

*piece of hard cardboard(I use the box from the printer)

STEP 2: Gut Your Case

only need to cut the bottom part, depends on the case you are using.

STEP 3: Measure and Cut Your Foam

add a bit of support by adding some cardboard to the back of the case glue it down of course.

STEP 4: Trim and Fill

now measure the lid and around the inside and start using that glue gun you had for a long time wanted to use it.

and yes , measure 'cause I try not measuring and I find out foam moves a lot ,ah yes the felt pen that's what I use it for.

This is great! And I think that this could be very multi purposed for a lot of fragile objects. I actually have the foam and supplies laying around for this one due to a lot of recent refurnishing and floor repair. I'll look around for some old suitcases. : )
Wow, I wouldn't bring my printer on a job, but this is an excellent job for those who will. Because some people... will. :-O Great job, that's a cool printer!
