I was surfing Youtube today, and guess what I found! GOOD ( yes, you heard it right, good) LEGO guns. Can you believe it? Here are some. The Thriller Automatic LEGO crossbow pistol. ( Interesting mech.) Bolt action LEGO crossbow. ( Based off of Thriller auto.) LEGO Mini Pump Action Shotgun. ( Never seen this with K'NEX.) LEGO Pump Action Shotgun. ( Some problems, but still.) LEGO Sniper Rifle. ( Shoots MORE than 25 feet, DJ.) There's LOTS more, but i picked out ones i first came across.         Ok, i came up with a TRUE semi auto idea for K'NEX guns. It works like this. The trigger is up at the very front of the barrel. The ram has a bunch of bullets in front of it. Every time you pull the trigger the ram moves forward,and a bullets pops out. Also, if you hold the trigger, everything will fly out at once, creating full auto!         Please give me credit AND a link if you use this.

I want it to look like on of the wing's from Davinci's desings, but I can't find just a wing thats big enough and cheap enough. It needs to be pretty easy to make and easy to get the materials I  need for it.  It doesn't have to be huge but larger than most model size. Any suggests would be great! thanks! Steampunked gal

Link-https://www.instructables.com/id/Z35-Knex-Assault-Rifle/ -Comfort 6/10(the handle was really flimsy) -Range 9/10(I got around 65-70 ft flat with 2 strands of 32's tied together) -Power 8/10(when I shot my hand it really didn't hurt to much) -Accuracy 8/10(the gun is kinda accurate) -Reliability 9/10(the gun is really reliable) -Body Weight/Balance 8/10(the gun is kinda heavy it helps if you include the carrying strap) -Magazine 9/10(never jammed for me) So I would recommend this to anyone who wanted a blue rod mag fed gun or just an assault rifle.=)

This is dj radios jackal v4 review. comfort: 10/10 - very comfortable. power: 9/10 - quite powerful. looks: 9/10 - looks fantastic. innovation: 9/10 - new trigger and is just a great gun. accuracy: 8/10 - oodammo is very accurate. piece usage: 8/10 - doesnt use a lot of pieces. strenght: 9/10 - very strong. reliability: 9/10 - never jams and a great trigger. overall: 71/80 - outstanding gun from dj radio, seriosly, build it!

I use an Ibanez RG350 EX (Floyd Rose). Recently I changed strings and although I tuned it so that the trem's parallel to the body, the strings are too tight and way above the bridge. Is this normal or is there someway I can fix it?

Ok, I'm working on something, and before I go through the trouble of writing an -ible for it, I would like to get a good idea of what kind of interest there is in it. I recently came into a free bricked xbox 360 (shocking I know, those are SO hard to come by.....) so, I have harvested a few parts, and am modifying my old xbox that had a bad habit of overheating by putting another of the larger heatsinks in xbox's over the gpu, changing the shape of the fan duct to accommodate the larger heatsink, and will putt the cd drive on top of the case, run the wires inside, and hook another set of the original fans to a 12v power supply and mount a switch on the case. This thing will be hideous, beautiful and will tell heat just where to go. :) So, What does everyone think??

 I have a blue snowball microphone, and wanted to use it to amplify my vocals, but have no amp. I know how to record with it, but are there programs out there that will amplify its input?

I woud really like a les paul style. I like to play alternative, rock & hard rock, and blues. Id prefer not to have a floyd rose tailpeice because ive had bad experiances with them. Ive looked into telecasterrs and dont really know much about them. I tend to play darker stuff and want a guitar with a dark tone.

I'm working on a project where I have a glass jar, and I want a circuit to close when I OPEN the glass. Need ideas on how I can solve that in clever ways...? I know how to program it in flash, but my current project is all hardware based, and I don't want to use a computer to solve it. I've tried using a photo cell, but for some reason it won't trigger on the circuit I'm circuitbending. I've used a photocell on another bend, and it worked there, but on this project I'm circuitbending one of those greeting cards where you can record your own voice, and it seems that it needs a good solid connection before it will trigger. Would greatly appreciate all tips. Addition: I need a solution that takes as little space as possible.

I made a little tin foil "hat" for each finger, and even though it worked great for controlling the game, I didn't feel like I got enough controll of which string I actually pressed down. For playing the game it is enought to just put the correct fingers on the stings, but what I wanted to do was to actually play along with the tunes in rock band to the best of my abilities, to actually have cool sounds come out of my real guitar. But what I'm looking for are suggestions on how to make the finger contacts better?

Well the oodassault V3 was in part a challenge to DJ at first. I also challenged the comment by KSC that he could and would make a new oodammo pistol that would be better than mine if I were to make a new one. We seemed a little hard-edged at first but we turned it around into a friendly competition. You guys are the judges. The instructions are simple. Just rate the EAP and the Oodassault V3 both out of 5 of how much you liked each of them. I'll count them up when we have plenty of comments. That way we can see ultimately which people not only prefer but how popular overall they were. I personally think it's pretty close. My pond gets blanket weed each year. One of the causes is excess nitrogen, but since some of this is due to run-off from farmland, I can only control it to a small extent. I have seen electronic devices sold which are a control box, with some wires which wrap around and around the pipe from the pump/filter - obviously some kind of magnetic or pulsed field is created and this wrecks the blanket weed cells without harming other plants or animals in the water - has anyone any idea how to make one? As you can see from pic2 we get tadpoles, small fish and things - the blanketweed can get so thick that the little fish get trapped in it! I have to pull it out, but often you end up pulling fish etc with it, so I'd like to resolve it. We use barley straw to prevent green algae, but it does not prevent blanketweed.

The bassist of my band quit, and now my I have to be the bassist and vocalist at the same time. I'm pretty good at playing the bass, but I can't seem to stretch my fingers out that long.... Anybody have any idea on how to increase finger-stretching capabilities? Any advice would be appreciated.... Oh and I can't sing properly if I'm playing an instrument, so any advice on how to sing while playing a guitar/bass would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was watching the military channel, and I saw the M32 grenade launcher. I really want to build something like it with knex. But here's the problem: I have yet to find a grenade that can fit in some sort of barrel. I'd use Carlz's grenade, but the rubberbands on the outside of it would GREATLY decrease the range. We need to make a smooth grenade, any ideas?

Live Action Game will include Vampires, werewolves, Fae, and mages. Sounds incredibly geeky I know and maybe it is, but it is also a blast! This will be for a semi-large live action game of 100 - 200+ people and we're trying to come up with some cool set/prop designs for general room/stage atmosphere but have a small budget, limited tools when it comes to saws or power tools (though we have more than 6 months before the day they are needed so we have time and plenty of hands to help).  We do have several great artists working with us and a lot of creative crafty people but are only beginning to brainstorm possible ideas so I figured I'd ask for some suggestions from some of the web's cleverest DIYers. This is much like setting a stage for a theatre performance. Our convention space is pretty large and we have multiple large (think ballroom sized) rooms available to put our set in. Other requirements for pieces: Fairly light  so we can move the items pretty easy (the game will be taking place in a convention space that we do not own). Ideally pieces could be broken down some for easy transportation and storage Would be great if some of the pieces had some versatility so we could use them in multiple venues (ie main structure, that can have things that can be switched out for other things is awesome for some of the pieces, like something covered with a canvas painted scene that can be switched out for a different canvas scene or similar idea) Nothing that is permanet or requires drilling into a wall/floor etc as the space is not ours and is rented Nothing that is on fire or requires fire. Nothing too complex for the average person to put together and take down Safety is a concern I would be interested in hearing any ideas or being pointed to websites for inspiration or instructions on creating these kinds of stage/prop pieces.
