Where can I get cheap Legos they don't have to be sets

Are there any airsoft sites similar to those jewelry sites where $400 things are sold for $20-$30? Furthermore, I'd like to ask if hobbytronusa is a trusted site. I've heard things about sites similar, but wasn't sure if it was that one. Thanks.

Ok, first off, this isn't SPAM - I'm not advertising, just trying to figure something out about this company.Zenni OpticalThey sell glasses starting from $8! Glasses from a local glasses retailer cost around $120, at least! How can they afford to go down that low, compared to other stores? Is it their method of production, like they use different, cheaper materials? I've order 2 pairs off of their site, one regular, one sunglasses. I'll be awaiting the results. Still, it's crazy how low they can go, or how overpriced local stores are.

I play guitar, and (try to) play ukulele. I have wanted to play bass for a while now, and I now have a guitar center giftcard. I think I may get a squier j bass, but im not sure. What brand is good, but cheap? It cannot be over 200 dollars. New or used is ok. I just want to know what bass is good to learn on and is cheap. Below is a metallic red Squier j bass.

Hello all, The plastik-ish thing that covers my parquet floor is peeling off. Is there a cheap and easy way to repair that? It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to look decent. Some spray perhaps? Something safe for a baby too. Some liquid that you apply with a mop? I've been "googling" but of course all that comes up is advertisement and PR. Even the DIY advices are like "you need to sand and you need to rent this machine ..." Simpler is better. Thanks! J.

In this thread, share your tips for getting the materials, supplies and tools you use to make and modify stuff as inexpensivly as possible.A trick I use:The local grocery store "Hardware" section is full of cheap tools and supplies. Last week I picked up a 105 piece screw/nut set in a nice divided plastic clamshell case for $1.00, two days later I saw a similar, but empty, plastic case selling for $3.99 at the craft store. The screws at the local Big-Box home improvement center would be about 6 cents a piece + the gas and agravation of driving to the store in the middle of a project because I need a couple 6 cent screws. 6 cents x 105 pieces = $6.30 worth of screws.

I like D&D 4th Edition, I also play Microlite 20 and Dungeon Squad, both have free rules online, but can anyone give me a game with cheap cost that has advanced miniature warfare. I play these games with four other people, not including me. We use cardboard tokens and printed dungeon grids/maps, and recently clay/wooden figures I make and paint. Axis and Allies, which I currently do not own, is the type of warfare that would be appropriated, or Warhammer 40K (which I also do not own), but these games do not have the adventure to it. No story telling, no heros fighting the ferocious dragon of ungodly and unpronounceable name to save the maiden. What game (supplement rules or characters is nice) has miniature warfare and story-like qualities such as D&D without the cost?

Winter is coming like they say on the wall...For me it means I need to find some option to increase the insulation rating of these old windows.3mm thick glass in not really fully sealing sliding frames is a pain. For my last place I had the permission to put proper foil on the windows at my costs.I guesstimated what I need and just ordered the required amount on a roll. That was a few years back though and now prices exploded.Last time I had to pay around $3 AU per meter, now the same material is quoted at $14.95 AU per meter :(My windows go from floor to ceiling and at these prices covering them would cost me more than a months rent.I am sure insulating window tint is available outside AU as well.Does anyone know any sources with half decent prices and low shipping costs?Found one supplier in the US willing to ship to AU but was quoted over $100US for the shipping of one roll (120m).Means all up I would be looking at still a bit over $600US plus postage and there must be cheaper options :(

I also dont want to spend to much money, and i don't really want to order off of ebay because shipping will most likely cost more than the product itself.

I am quite young, and I like to craft, but we are on a VERY tight budget. I also don't know much about electrical systems, physics, ect. I need some very cheap crafts that will last. **Edit: I am not on a very tight budget anymore and I have more electrical knowledge. I can do simple circuits, and I am learning more. I also lost interest in things like cardboard crafts and what not.

My little sister bought the worst/cheapest book case from target. its flimsy the bottom piece was warped, and i had to replace one of the piece of crap plastic pieces that hold the thing together with wood glue, a drill, and a long screw (this piece in fact ended up swaying back and forth less than the rest of the book case) so what I'm interest ed in is ways to reinforce and boost up the quality of the book cases and $30 furniture for as cheap as possible. any one got any thing?

I have put my knex up for sale on Ebay because I no longer use it. It is very good condition as I have sorted it over the period of about 4 days. I have taken great care to remove all broken/non-Knex pieces from it. It also comes from a non smoking home. There is enough knex there to build I_Am_Canadian's Heavy Cannon V1 as I have done so before. It was awesome. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/30KG-used-Knex-Sorted-Good-Condition-20000-Pieces-/220932399309?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash;=item337098e0cd#ht_500wt_1413

I work in a factory so when I needed to buy a radio I went with the cheapest thing I could find at Walmart cause there's no sense spending lots of money on something thats gonna be completely covered in dust/fiberglass/etc. So of course the speakers are rubbish but I wanted to know if anyone knew a cheap or hopefully free way to improve the sound quality or more particularly the amount of bass they produce. Thanks in advance for any help, Jake2k

My band is just starting out and we are looking for cheap ways to record. I am not looking into investing in an audio interface or an extremely expensive microphone at this point. I am wondering if it would be possible to make a ¼" jack to USB cable or a ¼" jack to headphone cable or something like that so that we would be able to plug our instruments directly into my computer (MacBook V 10.6.8) to record and edit with Garageband. Thanks! -Tqwerty

Please note that most shops here sell "Made in China" products and the only places that you can trust is Ace Hardware, Home Depot ( do they even sell bicycle pumps? ) and some vendors in Manila. Like, seriously, the stuff they sell in Manila is cheap, strong and hard to find. I just need one to power my air cannon and impress my teacher and finally get to get some people to say "WHOAA!!!!". Oh, and it should be Php.150 or lower ( $3 equivalent ).
