How much is Knex going for? I have a 33 lb. lot and was woundering how much you guys would pay for it. I have lost all interest in Knexing, and am now into the real thing. I made the 6 foot and it sucked, but it did fire about 40 yards (you guys way over estimate range, there's no way you could get 200 yards out of a knex gun, I built the sr-v2 and it went 25 yards.)

I have been having a real hard time finding them....and I don't normally have a rough time with Google :-) I am FRUSTRATED and you thought I was actually GoodHart LOL I found a lot of advice out there (simple to use and efficient JDM type programmer......no, JDM's rarely work, use MCU.....try this Starter kit....don't use that starter kit, it is inaccurate.....etc. & etc.).

I was vaguely interested in wholesale prices for shop products, and managed to find this price-list. The wholesale price is WSP, RSP I guess is the Recommended Sale Price (I think there must be tax in there somewhere), and whatever POV stands for would be the margin. If you think someone's expensive: either they've got an expensive supplier, or you don't know WSP, or they are making the most of you. (But remember, 8-'till-laters work hard to earn a living, they do need some margin) P & H price-list - as a major distributor these prices will be around the "good as one can get" mark. E.g. Haagen-Dazs 100ml £23.99 for 24x = £1 per tub Hovis Soft 800g £1.14 ea Cheesestrings Cheddar 21g £9.24 for 24 = £0.385 ea "What not butter" 1Kg £18.14 for 12, £1.51 ea Or just marvel at what crap you can stock your shop with.... It's only a bit of searching, you could check your prices (different country) by searching specifically differently. (Look for who is delivering stuff) I do remember a local shop which was regarded as a rip-off to the extent some of my friends would steal stuff by way of compensation... not much though, Pot-Noodle here & there... Hello! I'm JonnyBGood and this is my future knex project/challenge. I work at Familly Dollar now and I use one of these price guns sometimes to put anti-theft stickers on mechandice. They are very comfortable to hold and are easy to use so I thought maybe I can use the format to create a k;nex gun. I am working through another project right now but I will work on this project when I am done. I just thought it would be fun to share my idea and see what other people think of it. Please make suggestions if you have any and if you have time feel free to try to make one yourself!

Wow! Prices are on the rise, and RAPIDLY! $4.00 A gallon gas, here in the good ole U.S. of A. Have you been to the grocery store lately? I haven't, my heart cant stand the strain. When my wife tells me grocery-price horror stories, I have to make her stop so I can take my blood-pressure meds. I've always been frugal, maybe even tightfisted. I'd just like to build up something I'd be proud to leave my kids and grandkids some day. (Note to Skunkson: No grandkids for at least 10 years!) Sacrificing comfort in the interest of a better future is a noble cause. But the current economy is squeezin' this poor boy to death! I am: A) Trying to get a job closer to home. B) Parking the SUV. C) Driving the crappy, egg-shell, crackerbox economy car (and the Harley to soothe my male ego). D) Adjusting the thermostat. E) Doing more with the garden and the chickens. F) Rationing my beloved Coca-Cola. So what are you doing to cope with the raising cost of getting by? Real suggestions would be best, but humour wouldn't hurt, as the only thing I've laughed/cried at lately is my plummeting bank account.

Can a retailer change the price of a item already in stock? Say a book is 5.99, can a retailer mark up the price of the book while its still on the self? I had someone tell me that it was illegal for a retailer to increase the price of a item already on the self...

Hi there. I'm interested in seeing if anyone knows if it's possible and considerably easy to change the songs that the Fisher Price Music Box Record Player plays. This is NOT the original version with an actual music box in it. This is 2010 version which has some sort of sound chip in it. We have opened it up and it seems like you should be able to just replace the chip that has the music on it but we have no idea how to do that. Just curious if anyone has any ideas! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I was going to look into some mass production options for something like this, there's been a lot of interest but even I thought the cost a little high (close to ~$50 in parts). Before I even bother contacting a manufacturer I wanted to see what my fellow makers would be willing to pay, just to see if this is doable.Forget what's it worth, if this walked into the hardware store what would be your "buy-it-now" price, think about it price, and forget it price.*Just the desksquid not the mini

Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujG-N3goqKgHello, So recently, I’ve finally finished counting all the pieces in Convolution. I thought it might be a cool idea to make a contest about it. There will be separate categories with points awarded in each category. The one who has the most points wins! You are allowed to give ONE guess for each of the categories. Here are the categories and the scoring system for each one: 1) Grand Total: Guess the grand total of the piece count. The closer you are, the more points are awarded. If you are within 50 pieces, you get 10 points, within 100 you will get 8 points, within 250 and 6 points are awarded, within 500 and 4 points are awarded, within 1000 and 2 points are awarded, and within 2000 1 point will be awarded. 2) Most Common Piece: Here it is simple; just give your guess of the most used piece/part in the machine, and the amount of times it occurs. You will get 2 points for guessing the correct piece/part, and another 2 points if you are within 50 of the amount of pieces used. 3) Least Common Piece: Just as simple as the second one, guess the least used piece/part in the machine and the amount of times it occurs. 2 points will be awarded for the correct part/piece and another 2 points if you correctly guess the amount of times it is used. 4) Price Total: In this category, simply give an estimate of what you think the price of the machine would be if you were buying it piece by piece from the K’nex website. Prices are based firstly on the K’nex website, and if the piece is not found there, the price will be based on the price of the K’nex User Group. Prices are calculated in USD. If you are within $25, you will get 6 points, within $50 and you will be awarded 4 points and within $100 and you will be awarded 2 points. For reference, my room measures 2.28m(7’6’’) high, by 3.65m(12’) by 2.74m(9’). Also, here are some pictures and the video for reference as well. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujG-N3goqKg Best of luck to everyone. The contest deadline will be February 10.

I think people buy those panels attach them to tshirts and sell me for their own price :D
Yes this is inspired by a combination of three things, that infamous XKCD comic strip, THE LIST and a few conversations with friends. It's the cloakroom of my house, which is small but not too small for say six people and a few thousand balls... Important points, using the online calculator it would take around 800-900 balls at a diameter of 3.155 inches. The floor area is about 50 sq. feet and I'm attempting to get the height at around two and half feet deep. So suggestions, obviously if this insane project comes together on a budget of zero there will be a full instructable involved, which would make for awesome photos, think victorian features and stain glass backdrop to a ball pit...

Hey guys, I have a couple of really cool puzzle designs that are printable. And I'm thinking of opening an online shop to sell just the designs. What price would be reasonable for a game/art design? And would you ever Buy a design? And if so, what price would you pay for a relatively simple design? What would you be willing to pay for an intricate design? I know thingiverse is awesome, and open source is the way to go. Though currently I'm a poor college student who's playing around with some 3d designs Trying to see if I can earn some extra money here and there. Thanks your help guys, -Tom

Winter is coming like they say on the wall...For me it means I need to find some option to increase the insulation rating of these old windows.3mm thick glass in not really fully sealing sliding frames is a pain. For my last place I had the permission to put proper foil on the windows at my costs.I guesstimated what I need and just ordered the required amount on a roll. That was a few years back though and now prices exploded.Last time I had to pay around $3 AU per meter, now the same material is quoted at $14.95 AU per meter :(My windows go from floor to ceiling and at these prices covering them would cost me more than a months rent.I am sure insulating window tint is available outside AU as well.Does anyone know any sources with half decent prices and low shipping costs?Found one supplier in the US willing to ship to AU but was quoted over $100US for the shipping of one roll (120m).Means all up I would be looking at still a bit over $600US plus postage and there must be cheaper options :(

Looking to buy some potentiometers for a guitar project, i see the £1.50 500k audio pots that are usual style and some that are 4x the price and have a square enclosed case, still 500k audio. whats the difference and is it worth it?
I'm looking for a gaget that will allow me too read book titles of prices on low shelves without crawling on all fours. Hey, I'm 74. I look rediculous in libraries and find it hard to get up. Some sort of a periscope might work, or a traveling low chair to scoot along on and handle to help get up.

So, I was thinking for a few days, and have came up with a few questions, and some possible answers(solutions?) 1) Companies and buisnesses are loosing employees because they can't pay them, or employees are quiting because they aren't payed enough, and therefor, companies are loosing more money, correct? Well, what if people volunteer to work at buissnesses(for this example, we'll use a restaurant) to help out. Obviously, they wold have to be qualified, and still be "hired" In doing so, companies would more help, better work efficiency and hopefully, more buissness(more money) When they get more income, they can pay their volunteers and both the buissness, and the (now paid) vounteers make more income. 2)How are we loosing money? I never really understood how we're loosing money as a nation, and why the government can't make more. Who's to say that we can't print more money, and give it to people, and companies, and even other countries? 3) People can't buy products because of the price. Companies are raising prices, which means more people can't buy products. If companies and buisnesses were to lower prices, people would be able to buy the products, thus companies would make money. Maybe at a slower rate, but eventually companies would have more money to pay employees, and more money to hire and pay more employees. Employment rates would possibly go up, and so would the economy. What are your guys thoughts?

I thought hey, mabye some people could build Knex guns and sell them on ebay. Because first of all it is kind of hard to build some. What if they were premade for a simple price. I sure would buy one. Well it was just a thought. Also i dont know if you have to get something special to sell guns on ebay. But if you could it may be a good idea.
