Hi, I live in a 1970's home that has a lumpy awful stucco ceiling. I want to get rid of this. Can anyone provide instructions on how to do this? I don't want to plaster over it, I actually want to get rid of the little stucco bumps to make it smooth. Thanks! G

The mag slides through the other layers like a rail system (see pic 2-4). Then when you fire the firing pin keeps the mag in place (pic 5). The mag also has a long hole on one side so that the mag pusher doesn't have to have a long stick going out of it. That's the new idea so anyone can use it now if they give credit to me. =)=) (i also give credit to the jamalam)

Maybe some of you saw my video on youtube. I decided I'd mod the gun a little and maybe think about posting it if you guys think it's post-worthy. And by post-worthy I mean would you build it? Anyways on to the details. This is a basic weapon that is mostly compact and pretty reliable. There are no big special features other than the magazine which is obviously removable and has an internal pusher, a roof, and it can be top loaded. With a quick change of pieces you could technically top load the magazine while it is in the gun though it may be a little tricky. The magazines slide right in and should stay put. I shaked it my hardest and it wouldn't fall out. Removing it is pretty simple. You just need to pop both sides individually. As you can see I ran low on pieces so I just used red rods for the stock. You can store an extra magazine in it like in the picture. Of course I put in a pin guide. The handle is average. I wasn't too concerned with it as people can mod it freely. The trigger was made to block farther back so that the gun wouldn't have to be a unit longer to get max power. Ranges with the rubber bands placed as shown were about 9 meters or 27 feet with the mag full. I suspect increased ranges as the magazine empties. It doesn't have a turret, bolt, or shells so I don't know if you consider that good enough or not.

I was just wondering because I'm designing (what I hope to be) a pisol with a removable mag and I wanted to make sure my idea wasn't copying theirs. If there is please post a link. Thanks.

Alright, I was messing about with my knex, attempting to make a knex gun with a removable mgazine. I had made the clip and I then noticed my knex book-end that I made ages ago. I noticed that my knex gun clip would fit inside it, so with a little modding I think I have come up with the worlds smallest knex gun with a removable clip. It's roughly 12x8x3.5 with the clip in, and 12x6x3.5 without. Please post any atempts to beat this or correct me if I'm wrong becuase I have not researched this so it might not be the smallest. Can I get a W00T for summer??? Now that summer is here I have had a bit of extra time to dedicate to my gun building, and I have completed my Semi Auto. The Kinetic Last Stand is a small, compact semi auto rifle that utilizes 4-shot low cap removable mags and has a firing mechanism that originated from Louis XIV's semi auto, just a bit more complex. My idea of this has been around since christmas when I posted pictures of my first attempt of this gun, however It required too much energy to pull the trigger that was necessary, and so I created the V.2, which uses a simpler, more efficient trigger that allows you to utilize the energy of 2 #64's with little effort. The only downside is the mag capacity, which can be improved by a about 1.5 for every half moon connector that the mag, and in turn, stock, is extended. Thats about it...the video will demonstrate just how impressive this gun is. Maxed out means the maximum amount of power I would use for a war for the sake of keeping a high rate of fire. Let me know what you think!

Can anyone suggest how to remove hairspray (off spray) from painted wooden surfaces (doors) as we have tried all proprietary household products and white spirit without any success and it would be nice to have to avoid repainting the doors..!!

Request for help: Does anyone know how to remove the heating element from a hair dryer to have it only blow cold/cool air? I've opened it up and there are a lot more wires than I expected. I have just enough electrical knowledge to be a little bit above dangerous, so I thought it would be best to ask for help. Thanks!

Hey guys! If you don't know me, this probably won't interest you much, so go right ahead. On the other hand, if you do know me, I just wanted to make a short announcement for the sake of clarification and understanding. Again, if you know me, then you would have known that I used to make innovative style Knex guns and I was quite the messy builder. I had a few good guns along the line (REMPAR, all S-series, M17s), and some pretty horrible ones too (SABR, FPMG, SAR5). I've stopped building for over a year now, and I'm pretty confident I'm not going to go back to it. I still have all my Knex boxed up somewhere, but I won't be using it in the conceivable future. Now, I'm sure not many of you know this, but I've started not so long ago, to be a small YouTuber. I post almost exclusively MineCraft content, of all shapes and sizes, and I am quite passionate about that. Now, the old Knex videos I have on my channel are all unlisted, so that nobody on my channel can find them, but you guys here can still watch them if necessary. For a couple months now I've been watching the analytics for my Knex videos and it seems like almost no one at all is still watching them, which seems very reasonable, as they're quite old and most people have already seen them. I don't REALLY mind them being there, but I would prefer to remove them, as I have absolutely no interaction with them, and as it appears, nobody does, really. So, I've decided to remove them from my channel. I'm not going to go straight ahead and remove them right now, no. What I've decided to do is to post this forum topic letting anybody who's interested know about this, and consider it for a second. So, my point is, if there's anybody who would like me to keep those videos up, for some reason, please tell me down below. I will make my final decision in two weeks from now, on January 15th (-ish). Just a little bit of advice, if anyone wants to see any of my videos for the last time, it would probably be a good idea to do so now, and that's also part of the reason I'm posting this. I'd just like to point out that me taking these videos down has no other implications on my Instructables account. All my 'ibles will remain as they are, but just without the videos. I'm probably going to forget to even take the embedded videos off if I do delete them from YouTube. So, once again, let me know if you really want me to keep them, if you're still interested, go watch them now, and lastly, have a happy new year and an amazing day! GODSPEED!

I have JUST NOW dumped an entire sardine (in mustard sauce) onto my white work shirt while having my meal at work, and the standard "damp cold water on a paper towel and a dry one underneath dabbing like crazy, didn't work. I know there are commercial stain removers out there, but I would love to have a small bottle of something easy to make (or just something that needs no alteration, but does the job) handy for such incidences. Any ideas? (I DID do a google search, but would LOVE to know if any of the ideas worked for anyone personally; ;-)

I am trying to biuld a k'nex, pump-action, dropdown magisine, with stock and sight. I have everything running smothley apart from the magisine & i need help! The things i am looking for is,... # The magisine has to be removable. #The magisine runs smothley without cataching or jaming. #The magisine has a good amount of shots. #It must include a clip to go on the gun for it to slide and clip into. #And it must have a tensile to push the shots into the chamber. If somone manages to do this and follow all of the things obove I will post an instructable about my gun. With all credit to your name for the magisine. (I tryed to add pictures but my camera was playing up).

I recently began construction on my up-and-coming knex M4 carbine assault rifle and in about 2 hours of tinkering, I designed a brand new type of removable magazine for any type of knex gun. The way it is right now is using 10 dark gray connectors as ammo, but is easily mod-able and is extremely reliable. The way it works is based on the original "push up" system, but in an easily removable form and slides/clicks into place without any hassle, almost like a real magazine would. I am very excited for this idea and I hope that it will soon be used in a hopefully working knex gun (i haven't had much luck with any ideas besides this one lately). The only bad thing about it is the way i made it requires 2 modded orange connectors (they were already broken for me) so that you don't accidentally shoot two bullets or jam the gun. I also have 2 types of grenades that use motors to fling shrapnel everywhere, and require no reassembly...these are soon to come...

I tried to make a USB thumb drive and messed it up. It was quick drying epoxy so it's set really hard. I've tried scraping it off - works but takes too long. I don't know what heating it will do to the USB drive. Any ideas on how to take it off?

I'd like to remove some baseboard molding, but here's an old-school phone jack in the molding that has been painted over pretty good (though it still works with the converter). Any ideas how I might go about pulling out the molding without destroying the phone jack? I'm familiar with how to take down regular baseboard molding, but I can't seem to find anything online that might explain how to do it when an old outlet's in it. I'm not familiar with electric stuff, but am willing to learn, if need be. Thanks!

I have an external drive I can't back up of burn a cd from, because it is watermarked.
Help me guys. Im planning on making a L96 sniper rifle, however the main features have never been on the same gun before. This features are slingshot, bolt action and magazine fed. The idea i had was you pull the rubberband back onto the trigger mech ( maybe something like on Jollex's Dash gun ) then use the bolt to push the bullet from the magazine ( preferably removable ) up in front of the trigger. This means that it would be a repeating slingshot with no friction from the magazine. The main problem would be the bullet staying in front of the trigger but im sure it could be solved. If anyone wants to collaborate your more than welcome :-) Bhuty

Generally we don’t think about the quality stain odour remover for floor or a marble which can easily grab oil, grease, souse, blood stains, and these type of stains not remove easily by the normal marble cleaner that’s why it's don’t work superior. So what you thing about that type of stain how to remove it easily with or without hard work?
