Hey! Thank you for this instructable :) One question, how do you set the time right? In the code, I can see your comment about setting the RTC with an explicit date & time, does that mean that when programming it we should wait for the time we set before powering it? Or did I miss something? Thanks!

I must admit I did not thought of little mouths :-/ I tried to hold some of the dry sticks in my hands for an evening to see if they would get stained, but I did not chew them... Babies would though, you're right ! I'm waiting a little bit before offering the toy, I'll see how it goes :)

I'm always amazed of how people can come up with this kind of ideas... So easy to make and so satisfying to offer to a baby ! Thank you for the time you spent on this instructable :) By the way, I understood why you said to tight the shock cord that much, and I also learned why I should not have put that much beads on the thread : The toy is a bit too loose now.Last thing, regarding the painting : A whole night in hot (boiled) water with food coloring did the trick !

And here again. Something I'd love to understand ^^
View Instructable »Exactly. According to this article, you have increased the voltage but kept the same capacity in series. That's what I'm not getting...

I don't get it how you wire it in series and still get to increase the capacity?

I modified the code a little bit to fit the number of leds, and added a button to switch the color scheme between a rotating set of 5.Instead of using the transparent led's plastique, I used 6mm plexiglass rods and cut them to size and used a template for drilling the holes. And 3D printers are not mandatory :)
