There's a very funny story about "Woz" (co-founder of Apple) using a similar technique to practical-joke people. Woz used uncut Treasury sheets, trimmed them down to 4-5 bills per sheet, perforated the individual bills, and then bound them. Google it. Funny story. The perforated edge gets people. WARNING: Secret Service may get involved if you try this.
