Hello thanks for sharing this nice design. I made one successfully so that's oke. Just for practicing I did some calculation on the gear ratio's and I noticed a large offset at the rotation of Jupiter and Saturn (because it follows the gear train of Jupiter.). There are 4 gears with 40 tooth used and according me using 37 tooth will bring you much closer to the correct ratio. At the moment Jupiter is a year off.
Photo added.Any comments about the calculations. Is it indeed better to use a 37 tooth gear in place of the 40 tooth once.?
Where are the feeds/recent section gone to and why they disappear so often.I like to scroll and wonders everyday through the mindful things people do
To reduce some of the work. You only have to cut half of the rings to make this work as a chain. Just cut one. Add two uncut rings to on cut ring.
Nice project. It really wants to make one but I have a few questions firstCan you give more information about the touchscreen. The size, type or even a link to it?Does the screen also includes a SD slot because I see it's missing in the parts list
How about just learning what's on the cheat list.Apparently that is what you don't know
No need to use a Arduino for this. Just 2 switches will do the trick also and it eliminates the standby power too.
I ounce made a telescope the 'traditional way' by grinding some glass disks and such. However i really like your build most. Very clever and that you build this with just the things you have. Thanks for sharing
