Backyard Pool Grotto With Slide and Hot Tub.
Hard to say for sure, but I don't know if the program will run correctly with only 3 sensors, at least you could try to impose a value to the 13 other ones to simulate a non detection state, maybe this is the reason.

No UV radiations is safe for humans! they are all ionizing radiations, therefore knock off atomic bonds in DNA and can lead to cancer. That is the way it is killing germs : messing up with their DNA up to an unfixable level.

the idea is brilliant, but now someone needs to put this concept into something that blows everyone's mind!
OK now you blew my mind.
I am on a similar project myself, but I am using stepper motors, to me the system would be better with steppers (plus, I have some laying around in my house...).also, instead of smooth bars, I am using a linear rail. I don't like those bars/linear bearings very much... not very reliable if you don't buy the best stuff, plus you will need 2.a linear rail on a aluminium beam is far more convenient to put together, WAY stronger and with fewer 3D printed parts. It's a no brainer for me.But still, your project is very cool !
You are very welcome!
Those strips work with 5V, so any cap from 6V will do!
Thanks!Yes this is a very pertinent idea, and I tried it during the development of this project, and it worked well. But on a 3~4m long staircase, it is too short and doesn't make sense very much. It was just weird, like if there was an error or something. But on a 10m rail, yes, this is a very good way to go for sure!
