The Cliff (as me and my friends called it) i a very hard to reach spot (without boat) but was always one of my favorites. Seldom reef, because its seldomly dived at. reachable by car when its not wet (need a 4x4 though). and Watamula or Playa Gepi are to the far nortwest point, where the southline sharply turns into our northshore (watch out for possible strong currents).I don't Lionfish that often antmore, since the catch is so minimal for a normal dive. there usually fairly small too so harder/ not worth the hassle for foodprep so even though i still take my zookeepr on every dive, if i really want a catch, i plan accordingly.Talk to locals is always a good one! i'm not talking about native locals, they dont dive... nor other tourist divers, talk to the diveinstructors at the local divestores (like youre sort-of doing now! :P), they are often active and fanatic lionfish hunters!hope this helped you out a bit! if you have any other questions, don't be shy! :-)

we have deep wells too here on Curacao. i wouldn´t use it in any preservation/action though. Our well water contains high(er) amounts of calcium which raises th PH-levels considerably.Besides what Paige explains, theres alot of other impurity-possibilities in well water so i would have it tested before commencing on serious canning-action!If your just canning occasionally, just buy some distilled water!

maybe a fun idea to run a building-style contest? something like 'Last century crafting' (which would mean no 3d printing, no arduino, no CNC-ing) or a no-powertool-challenge.it might just get the inovative/ creative/ problem-solution-orientated people onto new ways of tackling certain 'problems'.

that springy, corroded coil IS the only positive and negative connection. It's this super-simple conection-setup; the batteries in the coily-thing and both connectingpoints (+ and -) in the etchingpen (the blue part)(i hope you can see this in the first pic attached to this meggage). the white housing contains no metal parts.since it is so corroded i actually broke when i tried removing it from the battery. so now my only option is a replacement.so, i ran a copper wire to the front and yay; it works! :P now i just need something thin enough that will fit in the housing and conducts electricity well enough...

i gotta be honest, the instructables-contest are a big part of getting to those ideas that have been floating around for years! i think i'm on your page concerning the half-finished project that keep piling up..! normally i have about 8 project running at the same time. this has it advantages as i can switch easily when i'm bored of the other. but then again some projects never get finished...nowadays i try to only make things for other people, which is a great motivator! i'm currently constructing a fourth tree-of-life necklace; the fun has been gone after the first 2, but the people i'm making them for are soo happy once they get them, it makes it worth the hassle!it might also help to make projects for birthdays, as holiday presents and those sort of days!

I'm already looking into making different hangers, earrings and other kinds of jewelry i can wire-weave myself to madness! :PYou wouldn't happen to have a picture of the tiara you made, i'm kinda intrueged now!

as a dive instructor i urge you to read, heave and listen to rickharris' post.The most important things are to regulate the pressure and have clean air!maybe less cool and spy-y but why not just mount an airtube (gardenhose or something) on a floater, if its just about staying underwater...

i've had the same thing happen a couple times. probably cause the browser saves the webpage when you close and open. re-logging does the trick though.message is something in the lines of;"oops, we're unable to process your request at this time. please contact us to explain what you were doing at the time"something that it "didn't understand the request"hope it helps

it helps alot concerning the lay-out options you have. with pro you can imbed pictures in between your text which helps alot with some confusing parts in your 'ible. There are more 'html' codes useable but putting pictures in between text is the main advantage imo.

I really, really, really hope you guys aren't getting rid of the leathrman-prize... All your prizes are really good btw! So i'm a happy camper anyway you guys choose to go!
