Hi there! Sorry I didn't see this sooner. The silicone is only on the back side, hidden by the frame. I put a bead where the glass meets the frame, and that works great. I didn't have any leak to the front. Best of luck!

Hello! You did not miss it! I purchased a great saw blade meant for cutting stones and adapter for the machine but haven't had time for it yet! Hopefully I'll get the next installment in early next year.
