I need something like this to complete my project. I have a portable lifting traction hoist that I got to help my dog up the PetSteps onto the grooming table, then he needs to go up another set of PetSteps to the bathing tub. I need to construct something on the ceiling so I can get him to go up the steps with this hoist. You are very thorough with your instructions. Looks like you kids enjoyed the project also!!
Dustin, Thank-you for your reply. I am unable to put a railing or sides to the Pet Steps, since it is a folding ladder. I have thought about a system such as you have for letting your dog out, but since I have had surgery, I really need an electric hoist. I am unable to lift more than 20 lbs. and he is 50 lbs. I have done clicker training with steak and he still has a problem, he is unwilling to go up the steps.
Dustin, Have any ideas on how to make something to get a dog up PetSteps to my grooming table, that is electric?? He is afraid of heights, and doesn't want to climb the 3 steps up to the table.
Great idea!! I'd still would watch your dog so another dog does not attack it, or someone steal him.
Thanks for sharing!! Very pretty!!
The Only Knot You Need to Know.
Thank-you for posting this wonderful finger saver!! I haven't tried needle felting yet,but I wondered if I could just use a pair of old leather gloves? Since you put a piece of a metal can inside the finger glove, I guess it would offer more protection.
Thank-you for posting an easy way to make felt flowers!!
Dear Sunshine, Thanks so much for the articles on shampooing hair, and recommendations from a girl that can't use coconut oil on her hair. I didn't know how many products I would find without coconut oil. Many products may not contain coconut oil but derivatives of coconut in them, so it is really hard to find any shampoo without a trace of coconut oil. Perhaps the derivatives would be something to consider as the girl in the video suggested. I am so glad you wrote an article on how to change the ph,because people & dog shampoo have different phs. I thought if I couldn't find a dog shampoo, or could make one, without coconut oil, I could change the ph. Sincerely, Terri
Sunshine, you brightened my day!!! I had been looking for a shampoo for my dog who is sensitive to coconut oil and wool. I didn't realize that almost 90 % of shampoos for people & dogs have some type of coconut oil in them. I have ordered the soap berries. I liked the way you just boiled the berries in a pan. I don't know what a immersion blender is, but I will look it up. Thanks so much for the instructable!! Terri

After seeing your video, I think one could also use the cut out and leave it clear to imped a keepsake in it.
