It's not really 'fasting - it's simply using a schedule to control your food intake. People are so enamored of food that any talk of restriction sends us into a panic. The thing that boggles me is that everyone is confused about why they're getting fat. Here's two things to think about:1. Nobody knows what a 'portion' is - or perhaps doesn't care.2. In all the 'what should we be eating' questioning, nobody get serious about what they SHOULDN'T be eating. Humans have been using grain to fatten livestock for literally thousands of years, whether it was part of the animals' natural diet or not... *you* figure it out.
