I can’t imagine how bad that wool would smell! Maybe look for mineral or rock fiber home insulation? As for tape, I think this is probably the same as Kapton.https://core-electronics.com.au/high-temperature-adhesive-tape-1cm-33m.html

Thank you for the feedback, I tend to use the words interchangeably. However, you are correct, on this printer, the nozzle is the hotend, and the extruder would be the gear drive at the top of the Z-Axis tower.

This was printed in PLA. I find that both CA Glue (superglue) and epoxy work well on PLA and ABS; CA doesn't work so well when printing in Nylon or TPU

I like this! Actually gives me another idea for a modification :) Thanks!
The 1/4" insert is getting the most use right now, I've put several dozen holes through it so far. As long as you don't rock the drill back and forth, they seem to hold up well enough... and it only takes about 15 minutes to print a replacement if I need one.
View Instructable »That's a clever idea, I could probably put a notch on one side for 3/4" stock and on the other for 1.5" - have to see how that works out. Thanks!
