I was able to run your code, but never got the same color on all LEDs at the same time. I replaced it with a code including only 1 color (0, 150, 0) and only a few LEDs are green. Other ones are blue, white, or red.I'll follow Grumpy Mike's advise on the Arduino forum.
Colors problem.Hi, I cannot get consistent colors, on the picture below, all LEDs should be green (it's the only color in the code). Only the eyes and the 5 blocks of 2 LEDs in th front are correct. The issue is the same with other codes...Anyone has an idea why?
Thank you for the awsome instructable!
edit 2:I have now some light turning on on the dome, randomly and different each time I plug it on... Might be a data cable issue?I'll keep investigating :)
Nevermind!I didn't pay attention to the direction of the LEDs!
Well...I have now now changed the wiring on the light Arduino: it was on a TXO hole (I taught it was what your schematics was showing), and I put it on a GND hole, and now: both eyes are working, but not the dome...
Hi, I need help again :)I have an issue with the LEDs: only one eye is illuminated, the dome lights and the other eye are not turning on...I have tested the continuity: the circuit goes untill the end of each stripes.I have modified to program by replacing all 83 in the code by 76 since I use less LEDs.Any idea what I did wrong?
I Calum, thank you for sharing your build!Could you help me with switch part?I got on/off switch, is that correct?I'm not sure about circuit:The plus cable comes from the LED to on side of the switch, and on the other side of the switch we have:- the resistor->minus cable ->LEDand- a cable to the arduinoIs it correct? Thanks ahead.
I was at a Jamiroquai concert last Sunday (North Sea Jazz, Rotterdam) a a member of the audience had one (not lighted or robotized though). It was pretty cool and Jay Kay made a nice comment about it!
