I have been a low-tech maker long before the term was coined. I love learning new stuff, which can be a problem as I sometimes jump into something new (which inevitably involves purchasing supplies/equipment) just long enough to become somewhat proficient, finish one project, and then lose interest. Some of my longer term interests have been yarn arts, polymer clay miniatures, cooking, gardening, and sewing. I work at a public library where I am involved in adult and children's programming. My …
