Tell us about yourself!
Hi Shena, I guess you'll have to make one to know the measurments. Just follow the instructions and information that come with it and you'll be fine.
Hi Shada, I've been doing other things lately. My head is not currently wrapped around domes. To answer your question I would have to go back to my own instructable and also try to find in my files notes I have kept about domes and dome geometry. Mt suf}ggestion is, go back to the instructable, check the whole process step by step and I'm sure you'll find an asnwer to your question, within the information that's already in there. Other than that, do some experimentation yourself and if possible talk to someone who knows about geomtry/trigonometry. Best regards. Marcos.
I' sorry about that. Why don-t you try again. maybe you did something wrong.
Yes, if I'm not mistaken, you multiply your intended diameter by a coefficient (number). It's one operation for the base of all the triangles and one for the height (so to speak) or each triangle in both the pentagons and the hexagons. So it'd be 3 operations you need to do, to know all the sides of all the triangles. Don't remember those coefficients, but a search on-line can solve the problem or the library. Hope that helps.
It means it's 48 times smaller than the original.
