My mom used to make bread when I was growing up. Living a sheltered life lately, so I gave it a try with your recipe.First off: I learned so much from your instructable! I did everything as you called for EXCEPT the very end...The dough remained sticky for me throughout the knead and mini knead. Not sure if I didn’t get enough flour or didn’t knead enough, but I just kept at it. I had to use a spatula to get it cleanly to the oiled bowl for proofing. After the first major proof after the kneading, it looked perfect!The only thing I changed was that after the “flacon punch”ing (thank you for the reference) I divided the dough and made two smaller loaves. As you can see they came out perfect.And yes, 30 minutes to cool is TORTURE!Thank you!
Maybe a bag for “shuffling?” Maybe a felt dot to tell which side is “up?” Just spitballing, but I wondering the same thing. Still an awesome idea.
