Thanks for getting back with me my friend. i have investigated about those servos. i don't think they are strong enough to handle an aluminum arm with at least between 5 to 10 kg weight on it, and that's just an arm itself. It will be more weight added during try to lift a soda can or a glass of water. However, i have found some super high torque with low rpm (60 to 80) brushed motors with the super strong gearbox, which i'm sure they will handle that weight. I'm not sure if there is any way to control those motors with that robotic shield. Have you ever tried that?
Great project. I'm actually following the same patent with a little bit of difference I've put in the program for the operation to build a wearable vest with two arms. My servos are not strong enough for lifting.Do u know what type of servo are more recommended for the aluminum arms or heavier materials?Thanks.
