That's a really good idea, just have to modify the STL file a bit to fit the Alexa echo dot.But this would be slightly more expensive to build and very little customization can be done when compared to using a raspberry pi.
Thanks to Google! They had very good documentation on how to use google assistant with raspberry pi. There are multiple options, you could use Alexa or Mycroft (Open source voice assistant). Alexa should be simpler to Implement just like Google assistant while, Mycroft can be complicated to setup but it gives lot more control with custom voice, various wake command, and other custom features.
Electronics and the software setup took couple hours. But the 3d print took around 10-12hrs in total.

That would be nice, but in that case, we need to use Mycroft (open source voice assistant) instead of google voice assistant.

Yes! The line follower bot I made have lot of flaws and cannot work as good as the one made with microcontroller. This instructable was just to educate the physics behind the sensor/bot and also how to convert a physics/science concept in terms of electronics.Glad you like it!

It doesn't affect the game play or trigger the anti-chrat engine, it is similar to screen recording or live streaming.

You should probably get the library within the Arduino library manager. Just make sure if the author is PaulStoffregen. The other way would be, download the git repository and install the library manually using Arduino IDE [Go to sketch -> include library -> add .zip library -> select the downloaded zip file (the timelib git repo) ].

(wireless_SD.ino file)Replace line 5 and 6 with your route SSID and password and replace from line 23WiFi.mode(WIFI_STA); WiFi.disconnect(); delay(100); WiFi.config(apIP, gateway, subnet); WiFi.begin(ssid, password); This would make the esp8266 work with your router.

Flash led is connected to GPIO-4, same as DATA-1 pin on the SD card. This won't be a problem when you use the SD card in SPI mode but in SDIO it uses DATA-1 along with other pins, maybe this is the reason for strobes.

Next time I will make sure the cat is completely visible! ;)
Glad you love the project and thanks for all the valuable feedback, if time permits I will defiently implement all of them!
The battery isn't that great, because of the existing LDO regulator, Probably I will update later with an efficient one and optimise the code.

Nano was very easy to prototype that's the reason it was used in step-2.Later to decrease the size of the overall device I used the pro mini.
