Thank you for such an informative Instructable! I’m excited to try your techniques. I planted a few cloves of supermarket garlic last Spring and had fun watching them grow, but I’m going to give it a go in the preferred season, with some local garlic. Thanks :)
View Instructable »Limited success :)My supermarket garlic sprouted and had healthy looking sprouts, but didn’t result in a head of garlic cloves - just one enlarged clove. Thanks again!

Thank you. Yes, I did make all the temari shown in this Instructable. There are so many patterns to explore!
I didn’t design that temari. If I remember correctly (I made it awhile ago), the wide obi was laid down first and then the “petals” were stitched from center out, weaving through the obi to create the star.
View Instructable »Thank you! Aren’t they fun to make? When you try one starting with squishy clippings, I think you’ll find it easier to make a nice smooth ball than starting with a styrofoam ball.

Your temari are beautiful - Thank you for posting photos and the links. Your videos are very informative. I haven’t tried rice hulls yet for the temari base... one of these days. (I’ve heard that nylons/stockings fabric works well to hold the hulls for wrapping too, and no need to poke vent holes). I like that you included a noisemaker and a wish also. Thanks again - happy wrapping/stitching!
