Most solar ovens I have seen use a parabolic or at least curved mirror to focus the solar energy. How hot does this get? Neat proof of concept, but I worry about the ability to cook something to a safe tempurature.

if that's the case, is the second blade necessary? It's not locked into the saw and the clamp should be sufficiently strong to hold the bolts. Also might be a good idea to break out that grinder on the teeth before you drill the blade.

I will be trying this next year, I might try and attach the hose at the base of one end and pop a small hole at the top for the air to escape to (hopefully) avoid the gap at the top of the arch. Hopefully the hose will not become hopelessly mired in the slush.Beautiful work.

Nicely made. Have you considered having the base be made of 4 pieces of lumber on edge rather than a plank floor? It may allow better drainage and prevent rot on those planks.

Does it need a cross brace to prevent bowing? That would be a literal ton of dirt and stone.

I used something similar once, I like some of the decisions you made. I've wondered if a custom rectangular router plate/slide would reduce the wobble seen when the router moves back and forth.

Nice idea, I have slate from an old pool table I have been looking to use for something. HEAVY, but I think this would be a cool project for it.

Looks great! Differently sized and shaped prisms can give a good variety of rainbow patterns. With this technique, you could likely make a good variety of mounts.

Hysterical, I love it. I wonder if it would be ok to place aromatic herbs between the plys.
View Instructable »A used ford broncho is usually better on whole for the planet than a new Prius. Have you calculated the manufacturing cost of the plastic and other materials, not to mention the to customer cost of the bidet seats ($$$), or the cost of the dedicated toilets ($$$$$$$$)? Also, as with most aftermarket solutions, the quality will likely be garbage, necessitating the repurchase of those items, increasing landfill of non biodegradable substances, which because of how they are made are not recyclable. Everyone wants a cleaner tuchas, I’m not sure ecology is the point of bidets. Plus, you still need at least a little paper to dry your heiny.

I have very little 3-D printing experience, but with these molecules, there is a isomeric structure (chair - L&D isomers, boat) that is more complicated that the 2-D representations shown here. Is there anyway for the print to come off the plate when printing? My 3-D printing experience is limited to the handheld 3-D pen.

That looks awesome, now I'm trying to think of where to get more circuit boards.I think closing the edges may help with hiding the wires and the future headaches of removing dust from all the nooks and crannies of the the circuitry. Its difficult to light a coffee table without also installing a floor outlet for the plug.

That will be so much nicer than the recycled hard drive magnets currently holding all the small drivers in my shop.
