I can successfully upload the Tasmota.bin file from the github repository. I cannot get either the scanner or the termite program to show any login prompt. Also of note, the transmit and receive had to be connected (crossed) in both directions to get programing to begin. Any suggestions?

I too only get the white backlit screen. I've checked that all of the pins are connected and not shorted. I've rechecked the editing in the TFT-eSPI file and no errors there. Was there something Jeff that you found missed in the documentation?

I too had one of these as a kid in the 60's. My grandfather got it for me, what a blast from the past. I remember building things and making the lights change. Too cool to find this!

When I try to copy the arcade.uf2 (3.2.2) file to the itsybitsy M4 (when in bootloader mode), I get an error that there is not enough filespace. The error takes a while to calculate free space and then times out not enough file space. Has ayone ran into this and what did you do to resolve it? I am running windows 10.

I'm getting a white screen too and the soldering is good, double checked it. Dragging a file to the boot drive only hangs and waits and waits.

I'm working on section 3 with the PICKit3 programmer connected to the ZIF socket. The program compiles correctly, but when it goes to burn to the chip, I get an error after clicking on the voltage error prompt. It reads: Programmer to target power is enabled - VDD = 4.875000 volts.Target Device ID (0x3fe0) is an Invalid Device ID. FYI, since i blew up a sim card in one of my old spare phones, I no longer searched for a prolific driver for the reader. I have other devices including a driver for a ham radio communication link that I did not want to break. These drivers have been quite problematic since Microsoft deprecated the older devices.

It's still doing the same thing, could it be if it drops the wifi connection it does not try to reconnect and update? If I reboot the clock with the updated code it will sync with the correct time.

After a few hours of running at the correct time, it drops back an hour. Anyone ran into this situation? Rebooting it resets it back to the correct time and then a few hours later its one hour slow.

Not sure what you would get, the description shows P4 P5 and P3 all in the same line. The display P3 is 2.5 mm spacing. the others are 0.5 mm added to each number. Not good for close up.

I like your idea, the only drawback I see is over 80 bucks per panel at that vendor. Can't find cheaper that won't deliver in less than 60 days overseas shipping. :(

I got the raindrops program to work it's pretty cool.
With there being an Atari sticker in the box, is there a posibility of running any Atari games or a MAME rom type of emulator with this hardware?

Assembled and got the first Pro Micro working a couple of days ago. Can upload the Blink program and functions fine. However when trying to upload the CC1101_RX or TX program, I get a compile error indicating WProgram, from C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\CC1101/ELECHOUSE_CC1101.h:13, then C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\CC1101/ELECHOUSE_CC1101.h:14:22: fatal error: WProgram.h: No such file or directory #include <WProgram.h>

I can't see much use for the blue box. My favorite phone encoder for phone systems and pay phones was my Sharp Pocket Auto Dialer EL-6260. Haven't had a use for it in years...

Just an observation and suggestion, this pcb uses thru hole plating with solder pads on both sides of the circuit board (two sided soldering). Make sure your solder makes a good bond on both sides. Being certain that the solder with resin flows thru to both sides. I see a log of comments on flaky operation here where the soldering may not have been hot enough and causing a "cold solder joint". Easy build, crimped the tabs on the pots and used past HB parts to put the I2C board on sockets . Got the led demo code working. Now what to do with it? It needs sound. It looks similar to the Groovysizer TB2 I built a couple of years ago. Hope someone comes up with a MIDI interface.

Got the programmer to work using the UNO too, yea he is a fast talker. Going to see if there is enough memory to put part of the Imperial march in place.

I've tried all of the different drivers on a Win 10 with Arduino 1.8.3 and everything registers ok up to the device manager. I never see a com port to select that works in the IDE. Blink will compile, but times out after a few minutes. I get red leds lit on both sides (USBasp and Atmel AVR). All is get is "An error occurred while uploading the sketch".

Maybe someone can 3d scan the case and upload it to thingiverse. Then we could make as many as wanted and not hunt for ebay relics. There are a lot more modules to take advantage of now.

I'm thinking this would be fun to put a mask over the camera and have a face that looks at you. Maybe a Guy Fawkes mask? lol. Plenty of halloween masks to try. Add glowing eyes....May be a couple of days b4 i can start...can't wait.

i got the same error trying to upload the captured text and one other question, how did you get the program to write the file to gps.txt? I have compared the exact same code from another instructables project and cannot find the error. I get no error that it cannot write nor any data written. I only see the text from the gps if i reset the nano.

I have the same issue with the U-blox. Working thru your suggestion. I also don't get any GPS data to write to the sdcard. If I reset the NANO, the data shows on the comm port screen, but nothing writes to the sd card. Does not matter if i create the gpadata text file or not. Tried copying the text from the gps data output to the GPS visualization website and it indicated a header was missing. Their header example is less than the output from the chip.

My mini card reader worked once and then will not work since then. It does not recognize when plugged in and the blue led does not light.
