Hello there, I am rather mechanically inclined artist that loves making old things live again. I have gone to school for auto mechanics and welding among other things. I love fixing newer things as well "..waist not want not.."as the old proverb goes. If it breaks I try to fix it or just making it into something else entirely. Hobbies include restoring vintage items from sewing machines to type writers, problem solving and learning new things. Thanks for reading!

You are most welcome! Some of the best thread you can use for staying power is nylon. Most regular thread is acrylic or a blend. Nylon you will need t scissors/nippers/any cutting tool to trim or sever, is perfect as it is very strong to the point it can possibly out lasting the fabric around it.
