Here's a tip for anyone trying to make this... If you try to use the Serial monitor with this project, it will make the LCD display garbage as soon as you issue the Serial.begin(9600); This because the Serial interface uses pin 1 and 2, and we are using it here to drive the LCD. I changed the lcd( to: LiquidCrystal lcd(7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 0); and moved the wires from Pin 2 to 3 and 1 to 0. Then I was able to use the Serial monitor to display the RTC temperature.
I was able to customize it to display mm/dd/yyyy! Excellent instructable!

Buy a can of Kano Silikroil and you will never waste time on another rusty fastener.
Hold two of your fingers in a 'V' formation. That is the coil before reversing. Now cross your fingers. That is the coil after reversing. Reversing causes the coils, which were laying side-by-side, to be crossed backwards from the way they were coiled. This makes the coil stay much tighter. All manufactured coiled cords have this done as well.
Check out an ap called Presence. It's free and I know it runs on an iPhone 4. It does either camera and I think it can control the light.
