    Thanks for the templates, had to eye them up a bit, but they worked. Like others said, I extended the base wider and cut it to match the curve in the arm supports. I also set in some mesh cupholders from old camping chairs that are working nicely. Mine is all out of SPF, which is why I painted it, and about 18ft of chain (20ft is there for changing height or location but 18ft is in use) for $100.

  • Not much, I cut it all from a scrap piece so a 4' x 4' would do plenty. I pulled rivets from my stock. and it would depend on your pattern. I used about 30 large ones and 30 small ones.

    Piano keys would work really well.

    That would save time. But part of my look was to mask the backer and make it look like they are just stick of lumber on the wall. But that could also be achieved if the backer was completely hidden.

  • You can download images form online and import them into a cad program. Then re-scale and alter. You can try to rasterize the image, or just trace over it with the line tool in whichever program you have.So I drew the actual vector files. Both from importing images and tracing, and referencing on a different screen as I drew them.

  • The photo of the paper copy in Step 1 is all I have. I did not make a cad drafting. I did just edit the photo with the overall dimensions of each piece, so that should get you there. But alter it to fit your own head.

So it all depends on how you run your LEDs and how many are in your strip.I also changed the delays so the time zones change every 5 seconds rather than every hour.   • That I messed up on and need to fix. I had a file that worked, then I went back to alter it and try to improve it, ended up not working and lost the original. Once I have time to sit down with it again I'll post it. I'm still relatively new to coding.

  • That photo is from a time when I had a different code in my ardunio and it did a color wash across the map rather than the time. Sometimes I like the color wash because it looks cooler, personally.
