Hello, we made this schematic to show you how to connect leds with Arduino and DC regulator, as you can see LEDs bright when Arduino output is low. So the current to bright them is given from the regulator. With common anode leds you should make a current amplifier because Arduino can't give it to them.
Hi eldoud, leds take the power from the DC regulator, we bought common anode leds so Arduino doesn't need to give the power, it just controls when leds bright. I hope this helps you.
