While powered it will save in memory the altitude max (and min) and display in real time the other values.If you shut it off, you lose values. So no, it doesn't log anything as it would require more stuff like a sd card reader and more code.Not too hard to code however if you need this feature.

Hi Djessie ! Depending of the arduino model that ur using, there are a voltage range which you can use to power it up. If a 9v battery fits, perfect, or you could use a lightest lipo (with a voltage booster if needed) if you want to gain some grams. Wish you a good and enjoyable school project :)
Hi, didn't play with the BME280 but as i can see, not the same wiring, I2C instead. Should not be complicated, search in google how to wire the BME and which library it works with.Then just update the code with the good library (and syntax function if there is changes) and it should work :)
Hi !Try changing the #define P0 1021.97 //1013.25 untill you get the right alt, even if the value is quite silly.Maybe it's a silly sensor too ^^
Hi Paul, you have this error because there is a problem with the "BMP280.h" library, verify that you have put the 2 libraries inside Documents\Arduino\libraries\ as in the Step 2: The program

Hi alainn, to calibrate the altimeter (if i understand you well) you have to play with the P0 value in the begining of the code: #define P0 1021.97 Change the 1021.97 value to match your real altitude, then it's calibrated and acurate :)
Hi !The screen auto switch from current data and min / max altitude every second. No history but min and max altitude values.It could be done writing on a sd card current data every x seconds :)
