thank you for the complement. I am going to make a horseshoe hose holder to put on the side. We have a 12 hose we leave attached so the wife can water her plants on the porch.
I appreciate you responding and I understand the delayed response. Congratulation on the wedding. I was able to figured it out. I used a sander on the bung hole (it sounds funny just saying that) and sanded the bung itself. I put some gorilla glue on the bung and tapped it in with a rawhide hammer and it sealed right up. The hardest think for me to do on this was to find a 3/4" plumbing tap. Had to order that off Amazon. I added a couple of pics of how it turned out. On the top of the barrel I put a screen to keep large debris out of the barrel. Its full because we have had some rain recently.
I just finish making one also. One difference is I used a rain chain from my gutter. I have not been able to get the bung installed into the wine barrel. When I try to install it, it keeps falling out. Is there a trick to this?
