Good luck :) Also, I'll give you advice I wish I've thought about: add icsp header to board for atmega, especially if you plan on modifying the code. It really helps with debugging and prevents bending pins
I did that too before finding out :D Sadly, I don't have main shield, I've used the one provided by Andrea. From what I've seen it's vector so maybe it won't be a problem, the company which did it for me was fine with pdf. Maybe in few months I'll make one myself but I cannot promise anything now. Designing it isn't actually that hard, in eagle you can just import pdf and follow the schematic.
Here is mine for IN-14, you might want to check wiring and placement of components. Connectors should match the ones on Andrea main board without additional changes.https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QKa46inwb3N-l3NX...
Sure but I don't think it will be of much use since it's mostly local (Poland) http://www.fabrykapcb.pl/. Using pdf as template should be pretty straightforward though, I'm pretty sure there'll be more companies or maybe you can try asking if it's not listed. As for the pdf I thought of importing it as bitmap and doing exactly what you described, basically recreating design in eagle, sorry for not clarifying.
Side note: my design does not correctly connect to cathodes, as in if you don't want to modify the board itself you'll have to change the code to accomodate for that. My mistake, I didn't check the placement beforehand
Here is my board for IN14: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QKa46inwb3N-l3NX...With some modifications it could be easily adapted for different tubes. I've added the library with russian tubes for eage I've used for it. Dimensions should be exactly the same as Andrea Biffi's original design, connectors fit into main board without problems in one I've made
I think I figured it out. After inspecting schematic I noticed that I actually need 9/12v switch which I don't have at the moment, but didn't know it's neccessary since atmega part powered up :) I'll update when I finish. I'll add the brds in few hours
Hello, I'm currently building one and was hoping for a little help troubleshooting if anyone would have an idea. I did the main circuit exactly like in tutorial, the led lights up when power is connected but there is no voltage on test +180. K155id1 gets power from what i checked, same with atmega. The 555 and basically everything on the psu part doesn't seem to be powered though. I'd be reallu grateful for any suggestions. What I suspect right now is some bad soldering somewhere but couldn't find any.
I have brd file for in14 board. Cathode and anode pins are placed exactly like on original one, same with bulbs, but they have different layout. If you're interested just let me know
