I should verify my resistor as I can't recall if I measured it, read the codes, or just took the value from the instructions.
Ritchie, I haven't seen that. I suspect kazuhiko's answer is probably correct and there's either no or incorrect firmware.
Sounds good, thanks!
Thanks - that seems like a great hack! How did you come up with 570ohm value?

So glad it worked out! I'm re-reading my Step 12 ... any suggestions on how I can make it clearer?
Sorry, but I reviewed my write up and still don't understand your question.
How'd it turn out?
I didn't see that "Good Luck!" message so probably different code. Mine's broken at the moment and I haven't had time to fix it.
Yeah, I mentioned I didn't think it was correct.

Also, you list "0806 package" resistors, but from what I can see there's actually a 0805 package size (and 1806 but resistors don't seem to be made in that size, or at least only rarely)?
It seems all the KSA-2's I can find on eBay now have the connections in a different order:5 - 9, C, 0 - 4Which would mean soldering the through-hole resister across from each end (from 4 to 5). Are these perhaps the wrong KSA-2's? Or will the resistor with long leads make a noticeable difference to the Parasitic Inductance?

I've never soldered with the solder being held fixed (like in a third hand tool). How do you "feed" solder as it melts if it's held fixed?
