When I was a child, my dad used duct tape and a small piece of metal to splint a chicken's broken leg. Healed up just fine.
Not sure about Pet Smart, but Petco has some fake ones(the one where I live anyway). Some signs it's not a marimo:1. They are not specifically advertised as marimo balls. IE. If they are advertised as "moss balls", "betta buddies", "fluval", or some other thing.2. If they are floating. These are sometimes anchored to rocks with string.3. If they have string tied around them. This is to give them a round shape, which real marimo will have naturally. Those are ones that I have seen anyway. Though they didn't have them advertised as marimo, they are designed to look quite similar to them. They where also in with marimo balls that weren't marked as being anything different. Hope that helps a little.
Making a Folding Crossbow
You don't see a full detach - reattach, then detach - reattach. You see his left side is loose, and can see it reattach, then you can see the right side detach before the next cut in the video. Deny it all you want, that makes movement of four limbs in one cut. You can point out all the cuts you want, but they happened before or after the four movements. I'll dude you all day bro.
Dude, watch the video more carefully a second time. There are a couple times all four limbs move in a single cut. 5:12-5:20 for one. And if you start at 4:49 you can see three limbs move in one cut.

How To Make The Mini Metal Foundry
So simple, yet genius. I was trying to find a real simple way to use my dremel in this very way, and I'm too lazy to make one of those fancy "drill press" or "table saw" ones on Instructables. Thanks man!
Great Idea! I think I'll only make 2 minor changes to mine. 1- Making my fish tanks visible. Might as well enjoy the look of 'em.2- I'll do herbs. While this setup probably wouldn't provide enough of a vegetable for a family, it would make more than enough to support what they would need for herbs to flavor food. Kinda like a suped up AeroGarden!
Have you ever tried rounding the end of the poly carbonate tubing for an extra finishing touch? I was thinking of trying to use a heat gun when I eventually get around to doing this awesome project.
I understand the desire to not mix electricity and water, but a cordless one uses electricity too... I guess you have more potential electricity with a corded one.
