Babcia used to make these all the time - she'd make a day of it. I still remember when she let us help her pinch them shut - she'd always say to make sure they're not going to come open in the water. We had those things pinched so tight they were almost complete circles! Good memories...Thanks for the great 'ible!

I also have a Holiday Rambler. Always drain the black tank first, then drain the grey water. That way, it cleans out your hose before you detach and store it. After all, the grey water is basically used, soapy water anyway, Waste not, want not...

You did a fantastic job, and it really looks nice!******* I do have to be a spoiler, though (there's one in every bunch) and caution everyone using pallet wood for anything: Be advised that pallets are often made with wood that contains preservatives to keep insects and rot away, because pallets were meant to last and be reused - as pallets. Many times these preservatives contain poisonous chemicals that are dangerous to humans and/or animals, so be careful when using pallet-wood things in a food, pet or child environment. Also, be extra cautious of the sawdust created when finishing pallet-made items. Preaching over. :-)

Great instructable for beginners to follow! I always put the blanket a little more forward than I want, put the saddle on too, then slide them both back into final place to make sure that all the fur is lying down flat underneath. Also, if your horse has a long mane, make sure that none of it gets caught up under the saddle or the blanket! Happy trails!

What a great job! Really looks fantastic. May I make a suggestion? With all of the work you've put into this, instead of using hot melt glue to attach everything, try using a great product called JB Weld. It almost acts like metal in a tube. If you mix up enough of it, you can fill the entire back of the brooch; not only attaching the wire vines and the pin, but strengthening the entire leaf as well.Great job - thanks for sharing! May the Light of Eärendil shine upon you!

Great instructable! I made a set of bellows some years ago. Instead of pipe (for the nozzle) I took a .30-06 spent cartridge and cut off the closed end. It left a nice tapered brass tube that looked very finished. In answer to Magnusf0711, I do a lot of leather work, and I get my leather from Tandy Leather.

WOW! I'm really impressed with the way it came out. Looks great, and it probably feels good with the weight of the resin and bondo - certainly a lot better than a hollow plastic toy!

Great job! - Looks like Toshi and Maddie (my Boston Terrier) would be great friends! I also work with leather and haven't come up with a harness design I've liked, but I really like yours. Maddie has the same issues as Toshi, so I think your design would work well for her. I just want to clarify: the D ring that you have highlighted in your "Fancy Little D Ring Capture Method" ends up in the center of the chest area of the harness, correct? It's a little difficult to see the whole harness because of Toshi's beautiful (but long) coat

I have to applaud you for all of the work you did with only hand tools. If I go to build this, I will undoubtedly be utilizing as much as I can in my electric tools, because I am not nearly as adept as you are with hand tools. Very well done.
