I'd like to make this! What is the difference between using an "marine (outboard motor) fuel line primer squeeze bulb" like you've mentioned and something like the "whale babyfoot manual galley foot operated pump"? Would something like the latter work? Is it just a little more expensive than the DIY approach using the squeeze bulb? Thanks!

Hi! Sorry for the delay! I just got the notification on this - If you haven't figured it out already, you'll need to download the library for these pixels. You can find a link to download the pixel library from adafruit here: https://learn.adafruit.com/12mm-led-pixels/code

Hi 10kkjay! I use cr2032's in the battery holder. You could any types of batteries (alkalines in a different holder, LiPo attached via JST connector, etc.) I had one of these holders handy and given the code (which won't draw too much at any given point), these small coin cells work great. What batteries would you like to use?

I'm going to replace some pieces of horizontal fence (I guess they're called pickets) and the existing fence I have appears stained. How can I match the stain? I have no idea what product to buy. Any thoughts? Thanks! Also - I noticed you've got a grey chalkboard in the background of this and it looks sad. :( Do you know the best way to clean that chalkboard wall!? Check out my instructable: https://www.instructables.com/Clean-That-Chalkboard-Wall/

I used a Lion brand Scarfie yarn and wished I had put another couple stitches in there to make it a tad wider, especially since it came out SUPER long. Also, I thought I was making an error in binding off with K1 P1 since it looks a bit...stretched...(see pic of ends, bind off is on the right) but I guess that was correct. Yay!

I haven't knit in a few years, so I played with something a little different, but the refresher and practice is necessary. Excited to start the next piece!

Exactly! Any number of sensors could also be used in conjunction with different animations, as well.
