The setup generates a triangle having two points as centre of sensors and third point as target. Irrespective of choosen coordinates systems, length of longest side should be lower than sum of other two sides.Selection of coordinates is based on convenience.

Hi, if you want to detect only 5 tone than doing fft is overkill (also might not be suitable for real time use). Goertzel algorithm are used for such applications. That's will consume far less mamory and computation. It is also good for real time application like you are doing.

1. it might capture minute noise and given the frequency of that data which does not have any meaning. To avoid this you may set some limits on amplitude (check my code on a project on arduino chord detection). Like, if the standard deviation of data is higher than some value, it should perform FFT and give output, else do nothing.2. for many instruments it is possible to have the amplitude of harmonics being higher than the fundamental frequency. you can check the FFT of such data using some app. if you still face the same problem do share the raw data (along with timestamp) I will try to work on it.

As correctly explained by notoriouscarl, both measurement are saperated by few milliseconds of time duration.

yes, but accuracy is not sufficient,curretly i am working on accurate method with make use of 3 or more of these sensor.that may be helpful to you.

I think the code for Tx is straightforward, but you are facing difficulty in the receiver . Am I right?

Use motor driver like l293d and change the code in the channel you are connecting to the driver with analogwrite instead of servo.writeThis transmitted would be good enough for low duty applications.

I have tested with flysky tx and working good. but you need to bind every time you start.

as first plane didnt flied well i switch my design to wing of which i do not have enough photo or video. so overall tutorial is bit discountinuus.

you can use any Arduino if weight is not an issue.

hi... Can please confirm that signal from ppm pin goes to any interrupt enable pin .. if that is ok. go to read_me function and check the output for variable "c". as mentioned in the code it is spacing between two peaks and should be similar spacing and channel value as data you capture using pulseIn function. if data in c is right than there may be some problem in code.

a,b and c is used to measure the spacing between two peaks in term of time. when a new data comes we store it in "b" (last data already there as old data named: "a")than take difference of "a" and "b" which is spacing in between two peaks.now as we have used latest data it is not new data (which we store as "b"), so we update old data. and make value of "a" equal to "b". now we again take new reading store it as "b"......so this process keep happens hundred of times per second.

It is serial plotter from Arduino IDE. Just update your Arduino IDE it is not available in older version.

even after taking many precautions weight of my plane was 250g, and it took around 50-70 g thrust to fly. So if T/W ratio is >0.2 then it should work.

hi...My receiver (of 6 channels) sends PPM for 8 channel (out of 2 are meaningless). I have chosen 15 just to make coding easy. so that, in any case, there is one set of 8 values which represents a value of each channel.for an example(here each number represents a channel number)2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 87 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 38 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 here we can just pick 8 value after channel 1 if you use only 8 values it will become6 7 8 1 2 3 4 51 2 3 4 5 6 7 88 1 2 3 4 5 6 7so, in this case, we need to make rearrangement which is also not very difficult but I preferred easier approach.hope now you are clear about it.
