In one month you get about 0.000012 BTC.

The first thing that comes to my mind, is setting up a second environment with another Raspberry Pi and another Miner. You could control the Pis with a main application on your PC coding an app for this.

Hi,That‘s great to hear! I am already working on a solution with Alexa. An instructable for it will come soon.You can already ask Siri to turn the lights on/off, if motion is detected and what temperature and humidity your room has.I have thought of using HTTP and an Arduino with WiFi to control the LEDs, to reduce space that the mega2560 needs. But MQTT sounds good too. It would be easier to turn more LED strips on.Actually there is a solution for using HomeKit outside your WiFi range, but you need an iPad or Apple TV (3rd gen) at home and it always needs to be switched on.If you don‘t want to miss my new instructables, you can follow me if you want!

Thanks! I am really interested in mining cryptocurrency. Using a Raspberry Pi wasn‘t the first thing that came in my mind, but then I realized, using a Pi is really energy efficient. If you use some more Pis you could even make some money.

Using just one miner would take about a thousand years until you get one Bitcoin. If you want to do this profitable you would probably need about 50-100 of these to get a serious amount of money.
