Took your advice on this! Shoe laces are working great. 45 inches at least for a single tie. If I'm using a pair I need to tack them down in the tie channel for easier tying and they can be shorter.
I was sewing a pattern from another crafter, which as a new sewer was giving me fits. Then I tried the three-piece (face, cheek, mouth) olson mask and that was a *lot* easier. My question about this...it looks like this adaptation is two layers of face pieces and the mouth to hold the filter. By the time you add a filter, you'd be breathing through four layers (face, face, filter, mouth) of something (vs. the olson three layers (face, filter, mouth)).Has anyone tried breathing through this in a warm climate? The only fabric I have is a medium/heavy duck and an old bed sheet (for the inside). Thanks in advance.
