  • How to EASILY Cook a Country Ham (and Make It Turn Out AWESOME).

    If the finished ham pieces are still too salty or too greasy, we boil them and then rinse them with fresh water and it makes the pieces perfect.

    This year, the ham was a bit too salty. I soaked it in a [new] kitchen trash can (10 gal) for 25hrs and I did one water change. It wasn't enough.If you are new to this, I would suggest, at least 3 water changes (so it soaks in 4 batches of fresh water). For Christmas, I'll try 3 water changes and a day and half soak and let everyone know.
