I’d recommend applying the wax after to be safe as the wax might cause issues for your sewing machine!

If I remember correctly, I think I just maneuvered the bag in a way that I could sew the bottom by putting the bag onto the bottom of the sewing machine. You could also hand sew that part if you're having trouble!

You can use a blow dryer (like the one for your hair) instead!

I used a basic sewing machine, nothing industrial! I think it was a heavier needle, like what you would use for denim, but I think it depends on what material you use. Good luck :)
