Hi Hari,Thanks for the reply. I did manually change the time zone offset, using the double-reset and using a my iPhone. After observing the clock for a while, I haven't changed nor reset the time so far to this date. I'll keep you posted, should it happen again.Best Regards,Abet F.
Hello Hari,After setting the digital clock, I noticed that my clock displays time an hour later, it resets to the standard time everyday, not to the Daylight Saving Time. Any suggestions to synchronize it to the DST?Best Regards,Abet F.

Hi HariFun,Thanks for the confirmation. I just did it, i.e. I used the GND & Vin (5V) of the NodeMCU. No problem at all!On another note: It makes for lesser wiring and it frees up the USB port. My only concern is if I use the USB for re-programming, will there be any danger of over-powering the Node MUCU? Should I disconnect the Vin and GND connections I just made?Thank you again for your help!Regards,Abet Francisco
I made it!
Hello HariFun,Thank you for your quick response, I really appreciate it.I tried the access point/cellphone route, but it appears the AP:MorphClk doesn't show on my network choices. I re-read your article again and tried the other suggestion, i.e. the other program for the smaller NodeMCU that is based ESP-12E and 1M SPIFF. Guess what? It worked!!!! (You're correct though, the only downside is it's not a bright as the original version).I'm happy that my first project is now a success, many thanks to you! Again, it's a pleasure communicating with you and I hope we keep in touch....Follow up question: Can I power the NodeMCU through the 5V power supply to the Matrix? How?Best Regards and MORE FUN TO YOU!ALBERTO "Abet" FRANCISCO
