If you scroll down in the comments you can see a picture of my son in this rocker. He was pretty big for his age. This thing is pretty bomb proof and it could easily hold two 6 year olds. I am able to sit or stand in/on it and it doesn't even flex. I haven't had kids really put it to the test but I am confident that it ill stand up.

Dogwalker51: I'm assuming that you are talking about the width of the panel as it goes around the arc. Mine was about 6". Because I don't have a CNC I hand drew the template. I used a string to mark the outside circle and then shortened the string to get the inside between six and eight inches is more than enough so that it would keep strong while rocking.
