Hi, sorry I do not, the beckhoff documentation for the EK1100 can be downloaded from there website and should have a diagram, however to wire, just put 24V DC into the + and 24V terminals and 0V DC into the - and 0V terminals fo the EK1100. The power for teh modules (EL1008s etc) are then transferred through the backplane of the units. you can see the metal tabs on the side of teh terminals which make contact when you slot them together.
Yes, you can also only use the DLLs to talk to Beckhoff PLCs / TwinCat running on a Windows PC. Using on a non Beckhoff PLC makes the licenses stupidly expensive and the licenses on Beckhoff PLCs are not cheap, it is aimed at commercial use after all. If you want to use a non Beckhoff PLC and use Codesys on say a raspberry pi or another brand of PLC, this will not have ADS therefore you can not use the DLL. There are other ways to communicate with PLCs. Check out OPC UA , there are C# libraries to communicate this way. An advantage of this is that it is open and brand agnostic.
Hi, no you do not need licenses from Beckhoff when using Codesys, licenses for Beckhoff only apply when using TwinCAT (beckhoff software). The ADS dlls are for seperate communication to a Beckhoff PLC (or PC running TwinCAT ADS) to allow you to write applications in say C# that talk to the PLC.

I'm not sure the raspberry pi can be used as an IO link masterhttps://store.codesys.com/codesys-control-for-raspberry-pi-sl.htmlunless possibly used with the beckhoff slicehttps://store.codesys.com/codesys-io-link-master.html

Do you mean using the MC_Homing in Codesys or using the drive itself as an intelligent drive?Withing Codesys using MC_Homing yes I have, you need an external calibration flag though to let the FB know it's hit the datum sensor.

Hello, codesys OPC server does not support the raspberry pi runtime, only on more powerful controllers. you may be able to create an opc server on the pi using another software and access that using codesys on the pi to write to it. sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I've never actually tried with the raspberry pi so not sure. however as the other commenter suggests you should be able to download the boot project to the PLC. let me know if you've had success!
