Thank you for answering me.With the tester I managed to understand all the connections ( it seems) The problem , at least for me , is that on the pcb FSW PNL EXT and DSP have not pin numbers. Also on the schematics some pins are numbered from left to right looking at the the pc board ( PNL FSW) while others are right to left ( DSP and EXT).In the photo below I made a simple scheme for those dumb like me , can you check it?thxA.
The PCB is arrived and I waiting for the new parts. I am having problem understanding the new connections , can you help me?1) My HLK-PM01 seems bigger and I can't fit in the pcb holes I am missing something?2) MAINS 220V in pin 1 - 23) DSP display pin 3 gnd - 4 5v - 5 a5 - 6 a4, 4) FSW foot switch pin 20 - 215) PNL pin 7 - 8 - 9 -10 - 11 - 12 rotary encoder manual push button and led?6) PRG/JP1 13 -14 ?7) EXT 15 -16 -17 -18 ?8) TRIAC A1 A2 G and then MOT9) Buzzer 19 - 20

I managed to build the arduino board, Now I am going to do the power circuit and it seems work correctly Considering it is a 220V circuit I am trying to do al the step in the right way. I am quite a beginner in elettronic and I am afraid of make mistake routing the components. Can you provide a simple scheme of the circuit in real life, the way I need to solder the components , and the best gauge for the wires of the power circuit?thank you very muchAndrea

I printed the this pages some times ago and the encoder was connected to A0 A1 and A2 the same is stated in your repository , but now in the instructions I see A1 A2 and A3 , can you confirm me the right connections?Thank youAndrea
Thank you for your concern much appreciated really , I am quite confident about elettronics, but I didnt lock at the shematics for now , I only read the materials while I was in metro on my phone , taking time to study the schematics later.So I assure you that I am not going to do nothing that can hurt me . I already have the welder fully functional but I would liek to implement your advanced control

I managed to integrate the elettronics in the hat , now only the button and power wires exit from the helmet.I tried to use 4 AA enelop battery for power it , but the ampere supplied isn't enough during servo movements, I'll try to use 6 of them with a buck converter .Now I have 100 leds , and I have to add the eyes. If I add the number of led in the eyes can you tell me if the color of the leds will be coordinate between eyes and helmet or I'll have to rewrite the code ( I am still studing it , I am quite noob regarding arduino coding.)I was reading this article about using three button for 6 functions, would be grate to add more servo patternsAndrea
As promised video and photos :)I added some leds , expecially for the baldes that now mount 4 leds each.I didn't used servo extention for the servo instead I used a 15 cables flat wire for signal and only one cable for ground and positive.the blades are 3d printed in petgI still need to make the " eyes" I am planning to make it using a separate arduino for indipendent behaviorthank you for your great work on this project !
I would like to add more light pattern ( i have to study the code btw) and would be great if the light code routines could be manually selected, but my arduino code capabilities are far from beeing sufficients
I finally finshed mine, I'll post a video ASAP , I have problem with servo timing in wave mode.Have you a map of the connections? I connected the blade from left to right from 1 to 15 but it seems wrong for me .thx
I found the problem I simply switched 2 wires , now works perfectly
I mounted all the servos with an elastic band , in this way I can remove servo witout problem. I need to check if the band will be sufficient during finn movement otherwise I'll put a small drop of hot glue.Now I have to solder leds on the servos where I am planning of using 4 leds for each servo so I 'll need to update the code I suppouse.
Hi ,I am in the process of mounting the moving blades but maybe I am missing something .According to your scheme the central one are 7 (right) 10 (left>) and 8 central . But 10 and 7 are differently shaped so I thing for maintain a symmetrical design the 3 blades on top central of the heat should be 7 8 and 9 NOT 10.Am I right?thank you
I am in the process of buulding the hat.I 3d printed all the parts I had to shape all the peaces for let them lay perfectly on the curved shape of the helmet.. i printed in PETG and then placed the peaces in an oven at 90C for 5 minutes .Then I placed the heated peace on the helmet and modelled accordingly of the curvature.Now I am thinking to add a transparent base on all fixed fin. I printed a 4mm frame that I hope will gelp to diffuse the leds light.I gad a lot if trouble soldering the leds becouse I didnt respected the right direction of all leds (indicated bybthe arrow printed on pcb ) maybe you can add an "alert" about it your tutorial.Also would be usefull a scheme for led and fin positioning. If I ll be able all make one when I'll finish mine.
