cool, how about a plastic weld project for a mechanical iris?
Yah, the other thing about tree/landscaping companies is that you never know if or when they are going to show up. And that's if you can even get a hold of them in the first place. I managed to cut down a few other over-grown cottonwoods in the yard. My neighbor had an arborist service cut down a monster that was hanging over his house.
Brilliant, simple, elegant, easy-to-carry; keeps your neck from getting cramped. Would prolly work for airline seat backs too; I see a lotta people bending over their phones. A challenge: can you make one for an I-pod size/Kindle size? Not sure if the velcro would be strong enough.

yep, the one and only!
Most of the projects are from cottonwood (poplar and narrow-leaf type). No splinters in the bras, they've all been sanded down, plus they're more for the auction to raise funds than for wearing. And I do have an electric chainsaw; although I think the chain needs sharpening. Thanks for the links!
Yah, you've got a great place out there for wood supply.
